
ZINKWAZI
Zinkwazi is a few kilometres north of Stanger
and is nestled between the subtropical beach and the lagoon.
It is a nature lovers wonderland of walks, fishing, spectacular bird life, indigenous
forest, water sports and endless beaches.
The tranquil lagoon is reputed to be the longest in Natal and is an excellent spot for
picnicking and water sports. Perched along the banks of the lagoon are izinkwazi'
or fish eagle which is how the village's name was derived.
The resort has a magnificent caravan park with an abundance of indigenous tress and bird
life. There is superb restaurant and ample holiday accommodation.
